Giusy Lauriola is a visual artist born in Rome, where she lives and works.
Her artistic practice spans painting and light sculpture, exploring the relationship between body, water, nature and memory. Her suspended landscapes and immersed female figures reflect a sense of human belonging within nature.
Using acrylic, enamel and resin, she creates layered surfaces where light and transparency open a dialogue between reality and imagination. Resin, a distinctive element of her work since 2010, also carries this exploration into her Clouds of Light, sculptures made of organza and resin.
