Un linguaggio visivo che trasforma la materia in suggestione, invitando lo spettatore a immergersi in un mondo sospeso tra visibile e invisibile. setting of the Aranciera di San Sisto in Rome, under the patronage of the Department of Environment. The works highlight a dualism between foundational abstraction and symbolic figuration, where the human presence is suggested through everyday objects. Chairs, armchairs, and interior spaces hint at men and women without making them manifest, inviting us to pause, close our eyes, and attune ourselves to nature. During the Thin Line exhibition in Sorrento in 2024, alongside the close-up faces of a man and a woman, we also see those of a mother and daughter or two friends. The closeness of sensitive souls causes the colors representing them to blend, signifying that emotions, when two souls connect, do not remain isolated but merge. This chromatic interweaving becomes a symbol of a deep bond, capable of transforming individuals into part of a shared whole, where feelings amplify and regenerate in a silent and universal dialogue. The liquid medium flows, and with it, the bodies—freed from the weight of material existence—suggest abundance and lightness, awakening and torpor, unity and never separation. Also in 2024, during Art Fair, Arte in Nyvola, Lauriola exhibited with SyArt Gallery a series of works that continue the Atmosfere Sospese concept while blending it with the Dialogue with Nature series. These pieces, characterized by rarefied chromatics, evoke a meditative atmosphere where nature becomes the absolute protagonist. Leaves and landscapes emerge on the painted surface in a balance between reality and imagination, while resin, combined with color, creates textural layers that add depth and movement. This visual language transforms matter into suggestion, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a world susNel 2025, Lauriola presenta il progetto Svanire nello spazio espositivo La Vaccheria, del IX Municipio di Roma. In May 2025, Lauriola will present the project Vanishing at La Vaccheria, an exhibition space in Rome’s IX Municipality. Inspired by flowers, this series invites visitors to interact freely with the works, without the influence of a curator guiding their interpretation. Svanire is a traveling project that will also stop at the San Pancrazio Auditorium in Tarquinia, SyArt Gallery in Sorrento, and SUarte Gallery in Rome. The initiative is based on the idea that art should speak for itself, without explanatory texts. For this reason, the exhibition eschews curation and captions, allowing space for a direct and personal experience, where the viewer becomes an active part of the interpretive process.
